OCTOBER 2011

There were dancing slave girls in sequins at the Brighton Early Music Festival this year.  Joglaresa had a great time performing there and at Warwick.

 

SEPTEMBER 2011

Ruth spent a week singing the lead in La Rappresentazione di Anima et di Corpo

by Cavalieri in the wonderful city of Venice Before relocating to The Hague, Netherlands to begin studying at the Koninklijk Conservatorium.

 

MARCH 2011

Ruth was overjoyed to receive an invitation from Buckingham Palace to attend a Reception for Young People in the Performing Arts hosted by HRH The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.  The Reception is on 9th May at the palace.

Back from skiing in Austria after a wonderful week in the snow

 

 

JANUARY 2011

A marvellously successful and sexy photoshoot with Joglaresa on the 30th.  Beautiful times ahead...

After returning back to the UK Ruth wishes to say a big Thank You to the Levrangi family for putting up with her for so long!

 

 

DECEMBER 2010

Well there's no snow in Idro and Ruth's keeping her fingers crossed it will stay that way so she can venture back to the UK to do 2 concerts, graduate and see the amazing Jaroussky and Scholl in the Barbican.

Ruth had a lovely white Christmas in Formby with the family and is looking forward to spending Capodanno in Italia.

 

NOVEMBER 2010

Ruth celebrated her 26th birthday weekend in style at the Banstead Arts Festival where she introduced her lovely harp "Kermit" to the listening public.

 

 

OCTOBER 2010

A fantastic concert on all accounts at the Brighton Early Music Festival.  There were whoops, cheers and tears as Joglaresa performed their exciting Divine Rites programme.

SEPTEMBER 2010

Ruth embarked on a new adventure in Italy.  Starting with 2 weeks and 2 concerts in Venice including the 400th Anniversary concert of Monteverdi's 1610 Vespers next to his tomb.  This was followed by a week in Florence staying with the lovely Giorgia Ciampi to take in some culture and a little Commedia Dell'Arte tuition.

Now living next to the beautifully picturesque Lago D'Idro with the Levrangi family, Ruth is experiencing life the Italian way, learning about the language, customs, philosophy and food.

 

 

JULY 2010

After 3 fantastic years at Trinity College of Music Ruth has finally graduated.

 

 

JUNE 2010

Ruth is still reeling after her first concert in Germany for the Schwetzinger SWR Festspiele.
